Conference Learning Objectives:
- Describe current research findings related to teaching kitchens, including studies on implementation science, clinical effectiveness, cost-efficiency, best practices, and scalable models.
- Summarize emerging evidence and methodological approaches that support reproducible, collaborative research and demonstration projects in teaching kitchen interventions.
- Evaluate how research findings can inform future study design, program implementation, and integration of teaching kitchen models across healthcare and community settings.
- Identify opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration among researchers, healthcare professionals, culinary and nutrition educators, policymakers, payers, and other stakeholders to advance innovation in nutrition education and food systems.
Joint Providership Accreditation Statement:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Rush University Medical Center and the Teaching Kitchen Collaborative. The Rush University Medical Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
